Building Engineers, Not Just Developers.

I'm Sagar Panwar β€” a software engineer and mentor helping students in Dehradun and across India go beyond frameworks and tutorials to become engineers who can design, build, and ship real systems.

After 8+ years building production software for enterprise and government clients, I started teaching because too many talented students graduate with certificates β€” but without the engineering judgment companies actually hire for.

My goal is simple: help you think like an engineer, build with confidence, and stand out in interviews through depth β€” not buzzwords.

Your learning path

What You'll Learn

Software Engineering

Understand how modern applications are structured β€” from HTTP and APIs to architecture decisions that hold up in production.

Backend Development

Build reliable server-side systems with Node.js, REST APIs, authentication, error handling, and clean engineering practices.

System Design

Learn to think about scalability, trade-offs, performance, and how real teams design systems that grow with demand.

Cloud Computing

Deploy and operate applications on AWS β€” EC2, S3, IAM, containers, and the fundamentals of running software in the cloud.

Real-World Problem Solving

Move beyond tutorials. Debug production issues, reason through constraints, and develop the judgment engineers use every day.

Mentorship & Career Growth

Get guidance on projects, interviews, portfolios, and the mindset shift from student to professional engineer.

My story

Why I Started Teaching

I've spent years building backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and production applications β€” and I kept meeting bright students who knew syntax but struggled to explain how software actually works end to end.

They could follow tutorials. They could pass exams. But when it came to system design discussions, debugging real issues, or understanding why an architecture choice matters β€” the gap was obvious.

I started mentoring because I believe India needs more engineers who understand systems β€” not just more people who can copy code from YouTube.

Teaching lets me pass on what industry actually taught me: how to reason under pressure, how to learn fast, and how to build software that survives beyond a classroom assignment.

How I teach

My Teaching Philosophy

01

Engineering over memorization

I teach students how to think β€” how systems connect, why designs fail, and how to make better decisions under real constraints.

02

Production-minded learning

Every concept ties back to how software runs in the real world: deployment, monitoring, reliability, and maintainability.

03

Personalized mentorship

Small cohorts and direct guidance mean you get feedback on your code, your thinking, and your career β€” not just lecture notes.

04

Build confidence through practice

Students grow by shipping projects, discussing design aloud, and preparing for the conversations that happen in real engineering teams.

Real-World Experience

8+ Years in Software Engineering

Building backend systems, cloud deployments, and production applications for enterprise and government clients β€” with a focus on reliability, scalability, and clean architecture.

Mentorship & Mock Interviews

Guiding B.Tech, BCA, and MCA students from Dehradun β€” including SRHU and Graphic Era β€” through projects, system design practice, and interview preparation.

Academic Foundation

BCA from Swami Rama Himalayan University and MCA from Graphic Era Hill University β€” grounding that supports, but never replaces, hands-on engineering work.

β€œThe best engineers I know never stopped being students. My job is to help you learn faster β€” with structure, feedback, and real-world context.”
